September 2017 Tarotscope – What’s In Store?

We made it through the crazy eclipse season and hopefully things will be getting a bit calmer in September. Let’s look a the tarotscope to see what’s in store. We still have the rest of the pesky Mercury retrograde to get through (ends September 5th) but I know we can do it!

Moving into the 9th Month should see some progress.  If we think of the major arcana the 9 would be represented by The Hermit as well as The Moon.  This suggests that we could be going on a bit of journey this month.  There are lessons to be learned but it seems that they are going to come from within.  We could find ourselves reflecting on our past, which will help us plan a course for the future.

When we look at the 9s in the minor arcana we see that you are on the brink of change.  There is still a bit of work to be done to reach the final destination but with a bit of perseverance and by choosing the right path, you can get there.

March 21 – April 19
Knight of Cups (reversed)

You could find that you have lost your way.  There is a burning desire within to find your place in life.  There is something blocking you and this is a great month to figure out exactly what it is.  It’s almost as if you are searching for your purpose but you can’t quite work out where to start or which direction to head in.  Take some time out to meditate or just even spend time alone.  Try to strip everything back to discover what is really important to you in life.  What are your true drivers and what is going to leave you fulfilled?  Maybe you need to explore your creative side or perhaps you just need to simply follow your heart.  There is a lot of potential for you to have a great month but you need to find the path before you can truly start to reach your potential.

 Taurus

April 20 – May 20
The Star

This is a great month for rest and recuperation.  You could have been working really hard but now it’s time to nourish your mind, body and soul so you are ready for the next chapter.  Bring some balance to your life and enjoy yourself.  It would be a great month for a holiday but at the very least you should allow yourself some time to get out in nature and just breathe.  It’s also a good month to start planning your next move.  Make your wishes upon that star and ask the Universe to deliver what your heart desires.  Get very clear about what it is that you want and don’t be afraid to ask for it.

May 21 – June 20
9 of Cups (reversed)

9 of Cups

You look like somebody who has it all but there is just something missing.  It could be that you have been in a very comfortable position for a long time but you are now asking yourself what is next.  We all have a desire to keep moving forward and no matter how great our lives are we want to achieve more.  Just be careful that you don’t become too complacent and you should be grateful for all the blessings in your life.  Ask yourself what would need to happen for you to find the 10th cup.  Check out my ‘Finding the 10th Cup’ tarot spread for this very situation here.

June 21 – July 22
3 of Swords (reversed)

3 of Swords

You could find yourself doing a bit of healing this month.  It looks like you have had a bit of a rough time and the storm clouds have gathered overhead.  The great news is that the weather is about to change and the light is on its way. I see that those swords are about to fall from the heart one by one.  Yes, this healing process could be painful and you could find that you are left with cards but remember that this is a 3.  3s in tarot are all about growth.  There is a lesson to be learned in every situation in life.  You may not see this when you are in the midst of it but you will be able to look back and realise it was all part of your story.

July 23 – August 22
6 of Pentacles

6 of Pentacles

This is a great month to give back.  You have a lot of gifts that you can share with those in need e.g. money, time, love, food etc.  It’s very important that you trust your intuition to tell you who is truly in need of the resources you can offer.  Choose wisely but be generous.  The scales represent balance so yes, you have to find a balance between how much you give and take, but you will also find that there is a karmic balance.  By giving back you will find that more blessings head your way.  This could be a great month to do something for charity or just even partake in a few random acts of kindness.  You will benefit from this as well.

 Virgo

August 23 – September 22
7 of Wands (reversed)

You have been fighting the good fight for a while.  There could be a lot of competition around you and perhaps that you feel that everything is getting on top of you.  There is a feeling that you are about to lose your winning position.  However, I envisage that these wands, which are coming at you, are going to start dropping off one by one.  It’s important that you keep fighting as you can win this battle.  You have a lot more strength than you give yourself credit for and it’s your passion and drive that will see you get ahead.

Libra

September 23 – October 22

The balance is off this month when it comes to all things material (money, career, house etc).  You may find that you are getting by but the foundations are very rocky.  An example of this could be clearing the minimum of your credit card but no more.  Eventually, this will catch up with you and you could find yourself in trouble. It’s time to go back to basics and get the foundations in place.  If we are talking about money, you need to start with a budget and plan from there.  Maybe you are trying to juggle 2 jobs and this is leaving you exhausted.  Ask yourself or the tarot what it is that you need to do to find balance.

 Scorpio

October 23 – November 21
4 of Wands

This month is all about community and celebration.  It looks like a family celebration and you should have a great month.  This is a really good time to comment with your community, tribe, clan or whatever you want to call them!  There is cause for celebration and you should embrace it.  Get out of the house and explore new places with those who you love.  There is a feeling of stability when you surround yourself with family and they could help you get grounded.

 Sagittarius

November 22 – December 21
The Devil (reversed)

You could find yourself overthinking things and this is leaving you trapped.  You totally have the ability to free yourself from your shadow side and all the fears that are holding you back. The true question is if you really want to free yourself.  When we get up close and personal with The Devil he is nowhere near as scary as we think. It’s a great month to look within and really discover what your fears are.  What is holding you back?  It can be as simple as making a choice to not let that thing scare you any more.  Just give it a go.  Try to do something that scares you and see how it makes you feel.  You could find this month to be quite freeing if you push yourself.

 Capricorn

December 22 – January 19

7 of Pentacles

Last month you were asked to let your barriers down and make yourself vulnerable.  This month is focussed on money or career.  You could find that you need to take a step back to move forwards.  It’s never an easy decision to make as you could feel that you making a loss.  Patience is key this month.  You still have a thriving plant in front of you but things are not quite going to plan.  Focus on what is working and you will eventually restore your position.  Try to stay calm and patient this month. Don’t react too rapidly to events that happen around you.  Just ride it out and see how you can turn things around to your advantage.

 Aquarius

January 20 – February 18
9 of Wands (reversed)

You are finally ready to move forward.  You could be somebody who has been through a lot and this has caused you to put up a lot of barriers.  I always see the 9 of Wands as somebody who is passionate but they are scared to share that passion with the world as they have been burned in the past.  You still have the battle scars and wounds to show for all that you have been through but you are finally ready to let those walls down and move forward.  You could find yourself looking to the future for the first time in a while.  Enjoy the feeling of freedom that comes with this month and get excited about what the future may hold.

Pisces

February 19 – March 20
2 of Wands

You had the Page of Wands last month, which was all about travel and receiving good news.  This month is another travel card as you have the 2 of Wands.  You are going into planning mode and figuring out what your next move should be.  The world is in your hand and you have a lot of options.  You are making progress as well have progressed from you having one wand to 2.  However, one thing I do worry about is that you can get stuck in planning mode.  It’s fine to take the time to set the course but it’s equally important to execute your plan.  You have a lot of potential but you do need to pick a road and start travelling.
