November 2017 Tarotscope – What’s In Store?

I can’t believe it’s already November and we are heading into the festive season!  This is a particularly exciting time in Australia as we have lots of events leading into Summer.

Being the 11th month of the year has some significance.  If we look at the major arcana represented by 11 (which would also be a 2 in numerology) we get Justice and The High Priestess.

It’s interesting that these 2 cards actually look quite similar.  They both have pillars in the background, which can represent duality and choices.  However, they also represent a portal or gateway to another place.  I see Justice as being the gateway to truth and possibly the facts that are not always obvious.  The High Priestess is the holder of many secrets and she can be guarding that gateway to the other side or maybe to one’s intuition and inner-self.

Overall I see that there needs to be some balance this month.  There is a sweet spot somewhere between trusting the facts and trusting your intuition.  We don’t always have all the information we need to make decisions so have to rely on our ‘gut’.

Aries

March 21 – April 19
Two of Wands

Life is there for the taking.  You are in planning mode and looking at what could be out there in the big world.  There is a slight chance that you could get stuck in planning and not actually doing.  It’s good to have dreams and it’s certainly good to have a plan of action before you leap.  However, if you over analyse you could find yourself getting stuck and not really going anywhere.  I would say that this is a great month to start making your thoughts a reality.  You are feeling inspired but potentially just lacking the confidence to take advantage.  Let your passion and gut be your guide during this month.  Throw caution to the wind, take a risk and experience what this wonderful world has to offer you.

 Taurus

April 20 – May 20
Knight of Swords (reversed)

You are almost the complete opposite to the advice I just gave for Aries.  You are all about action this month and you really want to go out there and tackle on any obstacles that are before you.  This energy is excellent and to be commended, however, you have to be careful that you are not just leaping blindly without having a plan.  There is a chance that you could become very reactive and not really focused on what you are trying to achieve.  Keep the end goal in mind at all times and think that every action you take should take you one step closer.  Don’t get drawn into conflict.  This is a high energy month for you and there could be a tendency to fly off the handle.

 Gemini

May 21 – June 20
10 of Cups

We all want to be Gemini right now!  You have the gorgeous 10 of Cups.  Conditions are looking very good for you this month.  You just need to enjoy it and be sure to celebrate all that you have.  It’s a great month to be around family and you should see a successful ending to any projects that you are working on.  You will feel emotionally fulfilled but towards the end of the month, it might be good to start thinking about what comes next.  We have to remember that life is cyclical.  I’m not saying that things are going to get worse but what I am saying is that you don’t know what is around the corner and it’s time to start a fresh chapter so you can create even more magic.

 Cancer

June 21 – July 22
The World

You have The World at your fingertips this month.  It’s a really excellent month for you and brings the successful ending of this particular chapter.  You should be proud of all that you have achieved and use the knowledge, skill and advice that you have gathered along the way to help you birth your new ideas.  There is a fresh start just around the corner for you and you are going into this one much wiser than you were.  This is a really good month to celebrate what you have accomplished but also get ready to launch your new projects or move to the next chapter of your life.  It should be a great month for tying up any loose ends.

Leo

July 23 – August 22
The Lovers

This could be a great month for relationships but it’s also about making choices.  There is temptation everywhere but you have to remember that there is a higher power guiding you.  You could be faced with a tough choice and it’s important that you make a decision that is in line with your values.  There are opposing forces at play and we all have to face our own duality at some point or another.  This could be a great month but it really will be in your hands to make the choice that will set you on the path to success.  It would be good to ask the tarot what information to need to help you make the correct choice.

 Virgo

August 23 – September 22
The Fool

Take the leap, my friends!  You are on the precipice of change and about to take that magical leap. This is the very first card in the deck and some would say even exists outside of the deck as he is a 0.  You are about to start a whole new adventure and you are going to learn so many great lessons along the way.  Don’t let procrastination or fear hold you back.  Take a child-like approach and just leap into the unknown.  What’s the worst that can happen?  You will be able to get yourself back on track if you take a wrong turn.  This is a great month to start a new project, accept a new job or just take a whole new approach to life.  It’s going to be a month of action and an exciting time.

Libra

September 23 – October 22
The Chariot

This month is all about action (so many action cards for everybody).  You are going to achieve your goals by doing.  There is an old Chinese proverb ‘if you want to be, do.  You should be fired up and ready to go out and get what you want.  You have to remember that you are in control of your own destiny.  Don’t watch life from the sidelines, get in the middle of the pitch and be the winner.  You will be pulled in different directions but by keeping your eye on the finish line, you will be able to keep the chariot on course and should be first over the finish line.  You will feel a surging motivation this month and it’s up to you to make the most of these conditions and be a winner.

October 23 – November 21
The Moon

You could be feeling that you have a mountain to climb.  You have embarked on a journey and it just feels a bit overwhelming.  Be careful that fear and inaction is not holding you back.  You could be putting barriers in your own way and thinking about everything that could go wrong.  Remember that the light of the moon can play tricks and can make these obstacles seem much bigger and scarier than they actually are.  The road ahead is actually quite clear and you just have to start taking one step at a time.  Remember that a journey of a thousand miles starts with one step.  Where will this journey lead you?

 Sagittarius

November 22 – December 21
The Star

It’s a great time to relax and get yourself back on track.  You could feel that you have been through the mill.  Maybe you have been overworking, perhaps life how thrown you a few curve balls.  This is a time for rejuvenation and looking after yourself.  Do something that feels healing to you.  This could involve walking in nature, having a massage, getting pampered or maybe just taking some time out.  Cast off all the toxic stuff that has happened and enjoy this ‘you time’.  Don’t be afraid to start planning your next move and ask the Universe to deliver your biggest desires.  There is a lovely star over your head so maybe it’s just the right time to make that wish upon a star.

December 22 – January 19
King of Pentacles

It’s time to get serious about money.  You need to channel the Taurus energy this month and be the boss.  Take a good look at your finances or seek the professional help that you need to get you on track.  Conditions are actually really good financially this month but you have to be sure to make the correct choices.  It’s not a month to be frivolous. You may feel that you are being a bit boring but the choices that you make this month will set you up well for the future.  You have an opportunity to achieve abundance but you do have to take the time to nurture and grow your fortune.

 Aquarius

January 20 – February 18
Page of Cups

It’s a time to have fun and get in touch with your inner child.  Stop being so serious and follow your heart.  The fish can represent your subconscious trying to get in touch.  Try to pay attention and discover what you should be doing.  It’s a great month to be creative and to be doing something that you love.  Pages represent new beginnings and you could well be setting yourself up to have a new beginning that is from a more heart-led space.  Ask the tarot what your intuition wants you to know or you can listen to my High Priestess meditation that will set you on the right track.

Pisces

February 19 – March 20
Knight of Pentacles

Slow and steady wins the race.  You have a very precious seed in your hand but it’s very important that you plant it in the right place.  The Knight of Pentacles is not the most exciting of the knights but he is somebody who thinks things through before making a decision.  Don’t rush into anything this month.  It’s a great month for planning and surveying the land.  Look at the options that are available to you, seek advice, make a pros and cons list – basically do your due diligence before making any decisions.  This could be a very fruitful time for you as you are wise and will use to skills and knowledge to set you on the right path.
