June 2017 Tarotscope – What’s In Store?
We are almost half way through the year! Is it just me or is time whizzing by? Overall the cards are looking really good for June. As we head into the 6th month of the year I like to have a look at the meaning of 6 in numerology. Sixes represent love, compassion and harmony. 6 can be known as the motherhood number, which is quite apt. \
If we look at the major arcana in tarot the 2 cards that would be represented by 6 are The Lovers and The Devil. It’s quite interesting as those cards are very similar but one is light and one is dark. This would be a reminder that love can be confused by lust and that sometimes you can overstep the mark when it comes to compassion and become overbearing. As with everything, we need to keep ourselves in balance.
You could have found this year being a bit of a roller coaster but hopefully this month will bring some calm and harmony. It’s a great month to lead from your heart and focus on your relationships. Take your focus off career, money etc for a minute and try to remember what is truly important in life.

It looks like you are planning your next move. There is a big world waiting for you out there and you are trying to figure our your next move. You have come a long way and have achieved great things but you must be careful not to get stuck. There is a danger that you will be overwhelmed with choice and end up not going anywhere! If you notice one of those wands is bolted to the wall so it’s going to take a bit of work to get you to move. Instead of waiting for the perfect time to launch, just go for it. You will learn as you go and adjust your course accordingly. So many of us crave perfection but end up being stuck. Is self-doubt creeping in? It’s time to stop being an observer of the world and actually start to play an active role. This is a great month for just taking a risk and taking the first step on this new journey. Maybe it’s a new career direction, perhaps it’s taking your relationship to the next level. Whatever it is, you will feel a sense of passion and fire that you haven’t felt for a while.

How gorgeous. You seem to have had a tough time over the last few months but you can finally reap the rewards and enjoy yourself. The Sun brings life and is the ultimate card in the deck for joy and happiness. It’s time to let that inner child free and let yourself go. Don’t be afraid to have some fun, throw caution to the wind and let yourself be free. This card can signify children or pregnancy. This could be a great month for you. It’s time to shake off that rigidity that is often associated with Taurus and have some fun. It’s a great month to holiday, hang out with friends, spend time with your partner etc.

You hit the jackpot last month with the 10 of Cups. I did warn you that nothing lasts forever. This month you have The Start (reversed). This is saying to me that there is a bit of a lack of direction. I often see this card as wishing upon a star. It’s important to have dreams, aspirations and goals or we end up just getting stuck. You need to work on what your next move it then start to work towards it. You could find that the balance is off this month. Are you working too hard? Are you finding that your relationship is one-sided? Instead of reacting, take some time to figure out what you could do to redress the balance and bring harmony back to your life. There is a lot of potential but you just need to pay attention to the details.

June 21 – July 22

You have a 6 in the 6th month! You are very in tune my dear Cancers. This is a really good month for giving back and sharing. It’s very important that you maintain balance and don’t give too much of yourself away. Be sure to find those who are truly in need of your time, resources, money etc and be prepared to share. I always think of the rules on the plane with the oxygen mask. You have to look after yourself so you are able to help others. You are feeling incredibly generous this month and you have a lot to share with the world but just be careful to protect yourself in the process. This could be a great month for organising a charity event, teaching or mentoring somebody or simply showing kindness to those in need.

King of Pentacles
Last month we had the King of Cups and this month it’s time for the King of Pentacles. This is a month that we need to step up, take control and be the boss. This may not come naturally to you as we Leos like to be liked! Sometimes tough decisions have to be made and you could be faced with that this month. You could also find that you need to seek out a King of Pentacles to get some financial advice from. He is a great advisor and certainly knows what he is doing when it comes to business. Whether it is you or somebody else, the month of June will see you focussing on work, money or other financial obligations. You have an opportunity to rise above the pack and do some great work but you just have to be sure to get the right advice.
Virgo
August 23 – September 22
Queen of Pentacles
This is a very apt card for the month of June. She is a very nurturing and maternal queen. She is also very smart and practical when it comes to business. The Queen of Pentacles can represent motherhood but she often shows up for me when there is an opportunity for growth. I see that pentacle in her hand as being a seed of opportunity. If you notice she has a very lavish garden around her so she is accomplished at taking that seed and creating something wonderful. Take the time to invest in your projects this month and you will reap the rewards. Life could be abundant and fruitful for you as you have all the skills and tools to turn and idea into a successful outcome.
Libra
September 23 – October 22
3 of Cups (reversed)
Last month was all about action for you. This month there is a slight warning that you could be overdoing it. It’s great to let loose, have some fun and party but you have to be careful that you don’t tip the scales and end up burning the candle at both ends. You have a great community of supporters around you and you love spending time with them. Just be careful not to get caught up in gossip. You may find yourself getting dragged in or you could find that the gossiping could be about you. There can be a ‘mean-girl’ energy when this card is reversed. Try to rise above it and come back to a place of love. There is also a reminder in here to ask for help and support when you need it. There could be a temptation for you to shut yourself off and try to handle everything on your own.

You could well be facing a bit of a set back this month. I won’t sugar coat it, but it’s not looking like the easiest month for you. This could be a financial setback or perhaps something career related. What’s important to remember is that this is a 5, which shows you are only part way through your journey and this is all part of your life story. Things will definitely improve and probably quite quickly. It’s also important to note that this card shows that you are not alone. You have support and this could even bring you closer together. Strangely enough, this card can show up for marriage as it had echoes of ‘for richer for poorer’. Life is cyclical and we all have tough times so just keep moving ahead, lean on each other for support and the clouds will soon shift to let the sunshine in.

You have a fresh idea and you are determined to charge into action! There is something very powerful about this card and it’s all about action. Swords represent Air which is thoughts, ideas and intellect. It’s great to be filled with such energy that you want to launch into action. The only warning in here is that sometimes you may need to think and plan before you leap. You notice that he is heading backwards. It’s not necessarily saying that you will head backwards but I get the feel that he doesn’t really have a plan of where he is going. Channel that energy you are feeling into your goal setting. Get a clear road map of where you want to go then start charging towards the first marker. If we just try to get the the finish line with brute strength we will probably run into some problems. This is a great month for planning and then taking action. You could achieve some great things this month.

This could be an excellent month for you! The Magician is the manifestation card. He has all the power and skills to see his thoughts, ideas, passions and dreams become a reality. You simply need to trust yourself that you have the ability to have whatever you need. the next step is to ask for it! It sounds simple but if you are clear about what you want/need right now and you start putting it out to the Universe, it will happen for you. The signs are all good for you to have your hearts desire. Focus on what it is that you need, believe that you can have it and that you deserve it, ask for it to happen and then sit back and celebrate your success.

The Wheel is spinning and you are about to be served with a great big dose of good luck/karma. I always see this as a positive card and things are looking very positive for you this month. There is always a bit of an unknown as to what the wheel will bring. You just need to know that destiny is at play and you will get what you are due. We are reminded that life is cyclical and that we will have good times and bad times. You are due some happy news. I always say that we are in complete control of our own destiny but when I see the Wheel of Fortune, I think that it’s the only card in the deck that we can’t really control. Another reversed card for you Pisces. It does look like it’s been a bit of a tough year for you. What I am seeing here is that you have been struggling for a while and you could be facing burn-out. I would usually say it’s time to relax and let things happen around you but my feeling is that the time has passed. It’s now time for action. You need to get up, integrate yourself with the world and start to live your life again. The time for planning is over and it’s now time for you to put your plans into action. Try to forget about what you have been through and start to focus on the present. We don’t know what the future holds but what we do know is that your actions now will help you create the future that you want.
