It’s that time of the month again folks, tarotscope time, where we have a look and see what’s in store for the month ahead. I like to draw one card for each star sign to get a flavour of what the next month will be like for you.

So what will February bring? Being the 2nd month of the year you could find that you have some decisions to make. We may have started the year with very clear intentions of where we want it to go but you could find yourself at a bit of a crossroads where you have to choose your path.

Well this is a very nice card for the ‘love month’. The Page of Cups can be an optimistic romantic. There is something so playful about this card. I keep getting the message that you should just let go and have fun. It’s important that you listen to your heart. Some say the little fish jumping out of the cup is a representation of your subconscious or intuition trying to get in touch with you. Be sure to listen to that inner voice and don’t take yourself too seriously. King of Swords
It’s all down to business for you this month. You are feeling extremely focussed and determined to reach your goals. This is a time for you to focus on head rather than heart. You will be able to take a lot of information and analyse this to come up with the best solution. You could find that you are faced with some intellectual challenges this month but no problem is too big for the King of Swords. Does anybody have the number to Mensa? You are on top of things and in control. Just be careful not to cut yourself off from others and try to show compassion when required.

So it looks like you are feeling a bit lost. You have started out on a journey but kind of lost your way. You may have faced a few set backs that are causing you to feel stuck and scared to move. Just remember that you have the ability to take control. These setbacks are actually guiding you in the direction that you need to go. If you notice, in the picture, the swords are creating a path. You need to try to see the big picture and remember that you can remove those bonds at any time. You have to be brave and prepared to take the next step on your journey. Believe it or not, you are actually on track.

Ok, so you have had your time out. It’s now time for action. When I see the 4 of Swords I usually recommend that you take the time to carefully plan your next move. It can represent rest, relaxation and recuperation. However, when the card is reversed it’s telling me that this is time for action. You have got a bit too comfortable in the relaxation spot and there is a danger of you becoming lazy. The universe is giving you that proverbial foot up the backside and telling you that it’s time to face the world and make your dreams a reality!

I see that there is a lot of potential this month but you have to work out what you want and what you need. Things are looking quite favourable but if you don’t find focus you will find all that good fortune and happiness draining away. Have you maybe become a bit too content and stopped striving for something better? Get back into goal setting mode and work out what you want to achieve this year. This is not too dissimilar to the Leo card. You have the ability to manifest your dreams but there is a real lack of belief. I know that we hear it all the time about making your dreams come true. This card is telling me that it IS possible for you. One of the major rules in the law of attraction is that you need to truly believe that it will happen. It’s time to draw on all your skills and experience and start to make things happen. One thing to watch out for is somebody being manipulative. The Magician reversed can sometimes represent a conman. Do your due diligence before you sign up to anything important. You have got this, but you just need to believe.
Libra
September 23 – October 22
King of Cups
It’s a great month to show leadership by being supportive and kind. the King of Cups is one of the best listeners in the deck. He makes a great counselor or teacher as he always sees the best in others. What this is telling me is that others will rely on you this month. You are going to be needed as a support for your friends or loved ones. Open your heart and offer what advice you can. This would certainly suggest that it’s going to be a good month where you find your strength and can truly make a difference to others lives.

October 23 – November 21
The Fool
I remember at the end of last year you had The World (reversed), which suggested that there was unfinished business. The great news is that it is all behind you now and you are ready to take the leap into a new adventure. This is the first card in the deck so suggests a new chapter in your life. You need to embrace change and see life as being full of possibilities. Don’t be afraid to take that leap. Find that child-like innocence and just go for it, without thinking about the consequences. This is going to be a very exciting month and hopefully the start of something great.

November 22 – December 21

You are due a dose of good luck of good karma but it appears that there may be a delay. You need to work out if there is something blocking you and stopping the universe delivering what you are due. I still see this as a very positive card but you just need to do a bit of internal work for its full potential to be realised. There could be a message in here that you need to be patient. Perhaps you are desperate to get some news but you have to remember that a watched pot never boils. It’s definitely looking like a good month but I feel that the end of the month is where the magic will happen.
Capricorn
December 22 – January 19
10 of Wands (reversed)
You actually had the upright 10 of Wands at the turn of the year. This card is telling me that you have been struggling for a little while now but things are about to get a whole lot easier for you. Perhaps you have learned to ask for help or maybe you have just found a better way of balancing everything. The good news is that those wands will start dropping away one at a time and the load will get lighter. It’s going to be a transition month to don’t expect overnight miracles but you are definitely heading in the right direction.

The Moon
The light of the moon can cast shadows and make things looks much worse than they are. There could be a temptation for you to put things off as you are managing to talk yourself out of it before you even start. E.g you may not want to enter a competition because you are sure you will get beat or maybe you don’t want to go for a job interview as you don’t think you are good enough. What we have to remember is that a lot of these obstacles are illusions and we are very capable of overcoming them if we just deal with them one at a time. Be brave and take the first steps on that journey. Let’s see where is leads you.
Pisces

King of Wands (reversed)
We are getting a lot of Kings this month. There must be something very masculine about the energy. The King of Wands can be an inspirational leader who is respected and looked up to. When he is reversed he can be somewhat controlling and demanding. You may just have to be careful of this type of personality entering your life. This card could also be aimed at you and telling you to soften things up. It’s good to be passionate but remember that others will have a different viewpoint from you. Healthy debate is good but don’t push too hard to get others to agree with you.
